When you think of Washington, D.C., you think of its historical monuments, countless museums, the White House…and now treacherous winters?! In recent weeks, QualTech’s headquarters, located in Washington, D.C., has seen nearly 56 inches of snow, breaking the old record in the 1800s by almost two inches. For an area that is used to only a few inches of snow a season, you can imagine the widespread panic that took place. Many of us endured power outages, some for hours and some for days. People were forced to halt their work and personal lives while “Snowmaggedon” took place, as many liked to refer to the storm. Even the Federal Government closed four out of five days of the work week. The QualTech family, though, made sure to touch base with our teammates via blackberry to ensure our families were safe and warm, if nothing else. As always, QualTech will be here, no matter what Mother Nature has in store for us!
